Female Cashier Robbed at Gunpoint at Union Ave. Restaurant


PATERSON, NJ - Police are investigating the gunpoint robbery of a cashier at Shanghai II restaurant late Friday night.

According to Capt. Heriberto Rodriguez, the 29-year-old female cashier at the eatery at 248 Union Ave. was threatened with a gun by the suspect at 10:42 p.m. The victim, who was not injured, turned over an undetermined amount of cash to the robber.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 973-321-1120. The Paterson Police are offering up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.The detectives handling the case are Ralph Fermin and Anthony Petrazzullo.
