HALEDON, NJ - The American Labor Museum/Botto House National Landmark has received funding from the Puffin Foundation to host Saturday Labor Art Classes for students from grades 3 through 5.

The classes begin on October 1st and end on December 17th, 2011.  Due to its growing popularity, pre-registration is required.

The purpose of the program is to expose students to the history and contemporary issues of working people and immigrants through the visual and performing arts. The students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities by which they will develop a better understanding of an immigrant worker’s home, lifestyle and workplace as a means of comparison to the same issues today.
