BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz visited Summit Medical Group on Thursday, Dec. 10 at a staff toy drive. The Summit Medical Group Foundation Holiday Toy Drive, in partnership with the Victor Cruz Foundation, will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic. Summit Medical Group is collecting toys at each of their facilities through Dec. 15. 

Cruz encouraged the crowd to get involved with their community as well as his foundation, The Victor Cruz Foundation. " I hope the things that I am doing can inspire all of you to go out to do things in your community as well as with my foundation," said Cruz

Cruz's foundation, started in 2012, promotes educational and financial literacy programs, college readiness and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (S.T.E.M) initiatives.

In addition to their partnership with the toy drive, the Summit Medical Group Foundation will be making a donation to The Victor Cruz Foundation.

I am writing this letter to express a grave concern I have regarding the influx of absentee ballots. To my understanding, absentee ballots were designed to be used by those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Such as people in the armed services or those who are away on vacation. 

This year’s municipal election will be one for the history books.
