PATERSON, NJ – The Center City Mall is offering to donate 5,000 hot dogs for the August 7 National Night Out events in Paterson.

After reading a story Tuesday afternoon on PatersonPress.com about the city’s inability to continue its practice of supplying hot dogs for the community anti-crime events, Ekaterina (Kat) Valiotis, director of property management for the mall’s management company, picked up the phone.

“The story broke my heart,’’ said Valiotis. “So Center City Mall will donate 5,000 hot dogs, their corresponding buns and the condiments. I will deliver them myself.’’

Valiotis said she would reach out to city officials to arrange for the delivery of the goods.
