PATERSON, NJ -An investigation by the Paterson Police Department’s Narcotics Division that spanned over two months led to three arrests on Friday.

According to a statement by Police Director Jerry Speziale, the investigation focused on illegal drug sales occurring from the apartment building located at 61-69 Park Avenue. 

At approximately 7:20 a.m. on Friday Paterson police executed a search warrant on Apartment 211 of the property, as well as on a second residence in Hackensack where police allege money from the illegal drug sales was being safeguarded.

Arrested and charged with various drugs offenses were Pedro “Skippy” Anaya, 42 and Hiram “Cuto” Ramos, 43, of Paterson as well as Elizabeth Sanchez, 31 of Hackensack.

Confiscated through the investigation was     488 glassine envelopes of heroin, 35 grams of crack cocaine, 18 grams of cocaine, and more than $23,000 in case.

"Mayor Sayegh and his administration are serious about public safety and whether you cross a county line or an ocean we will pursue you and bring you back to face justice,” Speziale said.
