PATERSON, NJ - Investigations are underway into two separate shootings that sent two Paterson men to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds in the early hours of Sunday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, the first shooting took place at approximately 1:45 a.m. in the area of Jackson Street and 21st Avenue, the second one about 90 minutes later in the area 12th Avenue.

While police found crime scenes in both locations the victims, 19 and 28 years old, were not at the scene and arrived at the hospital on their own.
