PATERSON, NJ - An investigation is ongoing into the cause of a blaze that erupted at 125 Presidential Blvd. at approximately 11:18 p.m. Thursday.

Facebook video by residents at the scene showed residents pouring out of the building as firefighters entered to beat back the flames that were reported to be on 14th floor of the building. 

According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, and Paterson Fire Chief Brian McDermott all residents were safely evacuated. Two members of the Paterson Police Department were treated for smoke inhalation at Saint Joseph's University Hospital.
