June 21: Jeff Jones Civic Assn. Awards Dinner

 

PATERSON, NJ - The Jeff Jones Civic Association (JJCA) will host its first annual Sports and Entertainment Awards Dinner on June 21, 2012 at the Hamilton & Ward Steakhouse, 101 Ward Street in Paterson, NJ, from 6-10PM, with a VIP Reception from 6-7PM. 

Marcia Jones, the Civic Association President, says ”the event will bring together a host of political, business, entertainment, philanthropic and sports personalities; introduce new sports activities and necessary economic opportunities to the city of Paterson.”

The distinguished awardees will be: Paterson’s own Victor Cruz, of the NY Giants; Tom Brasuell, VP of Programs at MLB; Wendy Lewis, VP of Diversity and Strategic Alliances at MLB; and Paterson’s own Sunda Croonquist, Comedian and Actress.  This year’s Chairperson is George Ntim, Director of Diplomatic and Community Relations at Marriott International. 

Special invited guests are: Herb Williams, Coach of NY Knicks; O.J. Anderson, former NY Giant Super Bowl Champ; John Starks, former NY Knick; Willie Randolph, former NY Mets Manager; Jerry Reese, NY Giants General Manager;  and other celebrity guests.  

Since its founding in 2010, the JJCA has been a concerned and active entity, providing needed expertise and financial support to numerous community and service-oriented organizations in Paterson.
