Kennedy gridders lose to Clifton, 44-20

PATERSON, NJ - John F. Kennedy's losing streak grew to six games when the Knights fell to the Clifton Mustangs, 44-20, on October 29.

The Knights actually jumped on top in the first quarter on Richard Clarke four-yard touchdown, but then Clifton ran off 37 unanswered points, according to nj.com.  Dondre McClain scored four Mustang TDs during that outburst, with runs of nine, 11 and 15 yards and a 31-yard catch from QB Patrick Ferrara. The other Clifton scores came on a pass from Ferrar to Timothy Brown, and TD runs by Andrew Minuche and Joe Chiavetta.
Kennedy scored twice in the second half. Tahrik Brown has a 75-yard third quarter TD run, while Glen McDowell returned a fumble 22 yards for a score, according to nj.com.
 
The 20 points was the most the Knights have scored since their season-opening 27-13 win over West Milford. Kennedy is now 1-6, while Clifton stands at 5-2.
