PATERSON, NJ - After winning just five games last year and entering the season with three freshmen starters, the Eastside High girls basketball seemed like a squad facing some challenges. Well, Head Coach Ray Lyde's Lady Ghosts have been up to the task, winning four of their first six games.

"Every game, it's someone different who steps up for us,'' said Lyde.

Against Paramus Catholic, senior Keymaeah Swann was the star. Against Hackensack, Emonnie Flood had a big game. In a 46-29 win ovr Plainfield, freshmen Kayla Diaz and Tayor Brown were the high scorers.
