Lady Knights' Playoff Run Comes to An End

PATERSON, NJ - After winning four straight state playoff games, the Lady Knights of Kennedy High finally ran into an opponent that was just too tough to handle. State-ranked North Hunterdon jumped out to a 12-point first quarter lead and then built the advantage to 43-19 at half-time on its way to an easy 68-51 win.

For Kennedy, win won the North Jersey Group 4 Section 1 championship, Morgan Taylor scored 15, while Ericka Brown added 11 and Ahnyyah Jackson had 10.

The Lady Knights overcame injuries to their two star players to finish a successful 24-7 on the season.
