PATERSON, NJ - The Men of Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. hosted its first Friendship Walk to support Cancer Survivors and Raise Awareness on Sunday, October 23 in Eastside Park.

The event hosted approximately 100 walkers and 6 teams.  The walk has raised approximately $1,600 that will be presented to the American Cancer Society.

Bro Gerald Glisson generated the idea for the walk and wanted the walk in Paterson to honor the Paterson Cancer Survivors.

Lambda Upsilon is looking forward to the 2017 walk and plan on making the event bigger with the intent to raise more money for cancer research.
