Man Found Dead with Gunshot Wound in SUV Friday Night in City

PATERSON, NJ - A Paterson man was found dead, apparently from a gunshot wound, Friday night in an SUV in the city.

According to Detective Captain Heriberto Rodriguez, 35-year-old Timothy Taylor of Crooks Avenue was found dead inside a white SUV that was parked at the corner of East 27th Street and 8th Avenue. Police had been dispatched to the scene just before 10 p.m. Friday on reports of a man being shot in the area.
