RUTHERFORD, NJ - Former Bergen County Freeholder, and mayor, Maura DeNicola has been appointed as the permanent Vice President of Advancement for Felician University. DeNicola has served in the position that leads University Development, Public Relations, Community Relations, Communications, Alumni Engagement and oversight of conferences & events for the past year.

A seasoned educator, DeNicola brings over twenty years of leadership in community building to the position. 

“Maura brings a wealth of knowledge in relationship building and outreach as Felician is poised to move forward with many ground-breaking projects and programs,” President Anne Prisco said.

Saying she was honored to be a part of the Felician community, “working to support the incredible, life changing mission of the University,” DeNicola added that “in many ways (her) job is to provide a beacon for the greater community to better know, support, and benefit from the University’s work.”

DeNicola has Masters Degrees in Education and Child Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and her Bachelors Degree from Boston College.
