MAYWOOD COUPLE WINS AGAIN –

A RENOVATION CONTEST AND A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE!

Some would say Karen and Jonce Dimoski of Maywood, NJ, make one lucky couple! Last week, the two were presented with a $2,500 gift card to renovate their 1950’s upstairs bathroom, and on Saturday, they were featured on the nationally syndicated TV show “Say Yes to the Dress.”

However, both would agree that their luckiest moment was when Karen saved Jonce’s life…during the same weekend he planned to propose!

In July 2015, the couple was vacationing at the Jersey Shore when Jonce went into cardiac arrest. Karen, a nurse at Hackensack HUMC’s Cancer Center, administered CPR and called 911.  Thankfully, Jonce recovered and the two married in October of 2016.

The young couple has slowly been renovating their home, but as with most renovations, it takes a lot of money, especially with the extensive renovations they’re having done.  That’s why they entered eLEND’s “Renovate Your Life” Contest by submitting a video detailing their story saying, “Please help us renovate our 1950's pink and black bathroom!”

On Friday, representatives of eLEND, a national, online mortgage lender came knocking on their door with a $2,500 Home Depot gift card to help renovate that bathroom!

“It’s been an exciting week for us,” said the Dimoski’s.  “Since we began our lives together, we’ve been so fortunate, and we’re truly thankful.”  In addition to the bathroom renovation, the Dimoski’s hope to get a new dishwasher.

“We’re delighted to have such a lovely couple win the sweepstakes,” said eLEND Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer LoBianco.  “The driving force behind the contest was to help make renovation dreams come true!”

TAPinto Paterson Reader Shares Concerns About Absentee Ballots

April 21, 2018

Dear editor:

I am writing this letter to express a grave concern I have regarding the influx of absentee ballots. To my understanding, absentee ballots were designed to be used by those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Such as people in the armed services or those who are away on vacation.

This year’s municipal election will be one for the history books.
