New Access to PatersonPress Archives

PATERSON, NJ - We must admit, for the past eight months it's been hard to find stories from's archives. We weren't happy with the situation and now it's been changed. this week debuted a new search system that gives its readers unprecedented comphrensive access to stories posted on our site dating back to its beginnings in the fall of 2010.

Just go to the box on the upper right corner of any of our pages that's marked "Search TAP" and type in the key words for a search. To focus in on exact names, put them in quotation marks.

As of Friday, April 27, you would find that Mayor Jeffrey Jones was mentioned in 314 PatersonPress articles since October 2010, Councilman Kenneth Morris in 217 articles and Assemblyman and former councilman Benjie Wimberly 155 times.

The search allows you to sort through stories by relevance or date, in ascending or descending order.
