Nor'easter Cancels After-School Events

PATERSON, NJ – Paterson Public Schools has canceled all afterschool programs other events for Wednesday because of the approaching storm. That includes Wednesday evening’s Adult School classes and athletic competitions, as well as the Board of Education's workshop meeting.

Meawhile, education officials said power has been restored at School 5 and it's now scheduled to reopen on Thursday, weather permitting. School 5 had remained closed Wednesday when all other city schools reopened because it was the only one without power. City schools had been closed six consecutive days for Sandy and a seventh for elections.
