PATERSON, NJ - Citizens frustrated about the violence they say stems from some business staying open late at night are planning a rally at City Hall on Sat., October 13 from noon to 5 pm.

The event will be held on Ellison Street because the front of city hall is undergoing repairs, according to organizer Clarence Chambers.

The rally is scheduled two days before the City Council's special meeting on October 15 about regulating the hours of operation of late-night businesses. That meeting is set for 6 pm
