PATERSON, NJ - One man was killed and two others wounded by shots fired from a vehicle driving through the 1st Ward late Friday night, police said.

A 21-year-old  resident of N. 4th Street was the first victim when he was fatally wounded while walking on Arch Street by shots fired from the vehicle, police said. Then, two other men were wounded when the vehicle turned right on Garfield Avenue and someone fired on them, police said.
