PATERSON, NJ - An investigation is underway into a shooting early Saturday which is said to have left a Paterson man injured.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 26th Street and 10th Avenue on a report of a shooting at approximately 12:52 a.m. 

Upon arrival the police located evidence of a crime scene, but no victim.

A short time later, the statement reads, the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 21-year-old male resident had arrival ed at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
