Palisades Virtuosi and Friends Present Annual Holiday Gala Concert on December 16 at Lambert Castle Museum in Paterson, New Jersey

The critically-acclaimed Palisades Virtuosi and friends will present their annual Holiday Gala Fundraising Concert on Friday, December 16 – 7:30 PM at Lambert Castle Museum, 3 Valley Road in Paterson, New Jersey.

Special guests will be the Pascack Valley High School Chamber Choir, directed by Argine Safari, PV Board Treasurer and Music Director at Pascack Valley High School.

The program will feature the World Premiere of In the Spotlight, composed for The Virtuosi by William Vollinger, with the composer as narrator, Chanuka (Variations on Maoz Tzur) by Henry Pool, transcribed for PV by the composer, and a selection of Holiday favorites.

Tickets for the December 16 event are $35 per person. Admission includes a post-concert Meet the Artist reception. Seating is limited, so advanced ticket purchase is strongly recommended. The Palisades Virtuosi, consisting of flutist Margaret Swinchoski, clarinetist Donald Mokrynski and pianist Ron Levy, is a 501 (c)(3) organization established to promote and enrich the repertoire for flute, clarinet and piano and present concerts that include existing and newly-commissioned repertoire for this configuration (each of their concerts includes a work commissioned by the ensemble), supplemented by solos, duos and larger works featuring guest artists. To my understanding, absentee ballots were designed to be used by those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Such as people in the armed services or those who are away on vacation. 

This year’s municipal election will be one for the history books.
