TOTOWA, N.J.- On Friday afternoon, the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders for the first time announced that they will offer a Film Education Grant to high schools in Passaic County.

The Freeholders, along with the Passaic County Film Commission and Passaic County Community College will sponsor a film grant to supply film education in the county’s high schools. Unique Photo of Fairfield announced that they be part of this grant and donate $500 worth of film, video, and audio equipment.

Freeholder Director Cassandra “Sandi” Lazzara stated, “As a former educator, I know how important it is that we encourage young adults to advance their knowledge and learn skills outside the classroom”. “For many of these students, the Film Festival is the first step they take to their desired career and achieving their dreams.”
