PATERSON, NJ- Parents attending report card meetings at schools across the city this week will be met outside by local educators taking part in “informational picketing.”

According to an announcement by the Paterson Education Association, the union that represents more than 3,200 members working in the Paterson Schools, the purpose of the job action is to “highlight all of the outstanding hard work and dedication of our employees.”

These educators, according to the announcement, have been working without a contract since July 1, 2017.
