PATERSON, NJ - A house fire Monday afternoon left three city residents displaced.

According to the Paterson Fire Department, the fire in a one-story residential structure shortly after 3 p.m. Monday at 57 May St. was confined to the rear of the home. The single-alarm fire was contained without spreading to other properties.

Although there were no injuries as a result of the blaze, three occupants of the home had to relocate and are living temporarily with family and friends in the area.
