HACKSENSACK, NJ - A Paterson man was arrested Friday in connection with his alleged role in narcotics distribution in Elmwood Park.

According to a statement by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, Diarre Chitty, 19, was arrested Friday following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

The reports states that the prosecutor’s office received information related to Chitty’s alleged transgressions in May, and that during the investigation the suspect is said to have sold approximately 450 glassine bags of Heroin and 20 grams of Cocaine to an undercover Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Detective.

Chitty was released on his own recognizance pending further court action.
