PATERSON, NJ - A 27-year-old Paterson man who was struck by a vehicle while walking on Route 21 in Passaic has died from his injuries, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announced Tuesday.

According to reports, Emmanueal Perdomo was a pedestrian on the Northbound side of the highway near mile marker 11.2 when he was struck by a 2005 Honda Civic being driven by Luis Munoz, 57, Passaic. Munoz remained on the scene and provided a valid driver’s license. 

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
