PATERSON, NJ- An overnight shooting left a 25-year old Paterson male with non life threatening gunshot wounds on Saturday.

According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald , members of the Paterson Police Department responded to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center at approximately 2:35 a.m. after being advised that the victim had arrived there seeking treatment for his injuries.

Based on the initial investigation which is still active and ongoing, the victim was in the area of McBride Avenue when the shooting took place.
