PATERSON, NJ- A 26-year-old Paterson man was shot multiple times Thursday afternoon.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Carroll Street at approximately 4:16 p.m. Upon arrival they found a possible crime scene but were unable to locate the victim.

A short time later, the report read, police were notified that a 26-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.
