PATERSON, NJ- An 18-year-old Paterson male sustained sustained a non fatal gunshot wound in the early hours of Saturday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Ellison Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard Paterson at approximately 1:58 a.m. on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival the police located the victim who was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
