PATERSON, NJ- A 19-year-old Paterson male is recovering from gunshot wounds he suffered while riding a motorized bike in the early hours of Sunday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Carroll Street on a report of shots fired just before 2:00 a.m. 

Upon arrival the police located the victim who said he heard gunshots while passing through the intersection at Harrison Street and realized he’d been hit. The male was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
