Paterson Man Shot, Shotgun Recovered

PATERSON, NJ- A Paterson man was shot on Sunday night it was reported by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and the Paterson Police Department.

Paterson police were flagged down by a “good Samaritan” in front of 253 Broadway and were directed to a shotgun that had been abandoned near the entrance to the building. A short time later, the 23-year-old gunshot victim was found suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound in front of 190 Hamilton Avenue.

The victim was immediately transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
