PATERSON, N.J. - The Attorney Generals office will be holding a press conference today in Totowa in regards to an ongoing investigation into Paterson mayor Jose "Joey" Torres.
Multiple major media outlets like ABC and NBC first broke the story this morning after a media advisory was issued about a press conference to be held Tueday at 4pm.
Mayor Torres has been under investigation and late last year the FBI and DOJ recovered documents from city hall as part of an inquiry into illegal practices of using city workers for personal jobs. The I-Team revealed footage of city workers doing odd jobs like moving furniture, and cleaning the office of the mayor's wife.
