Paterson PD Seeks Help to I.D. Deceased Woman

PATERSON, NJ - The Paterson Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a woman found deceased in a Fourth Avenue  basement on Saturday Nov. 29, 2014.

The time of death is uncertain but she had been deceased for a significant period of time. She was found without any personal identification. The Medical Examiner estimates the victim was between 20 and 35 years old at the time of death; approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height; and a white or Hispanic female.

There were several distinctive tattoos located: on the inside of each bicep was a name in cursive letters "Jean" and Noriega", the initials "JR" were between the left thumb and index fingers, and on the right breast a small heart. If anyone has any information related to the identity of this victim or the circumstances by which she was left in this basement should contact the Paterson Police Detective Bureau.
