PATERSON, NJ - A 33-year-old Paterson woman who is said to have struck a 15-year-old child with an electrical cord has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Endangering the  Welfare of a Child, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. 

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, Julissa Rosario, was arrested Monday after an investigation conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Paterson Police Department. 

The incident, which is said to have taken place on March 23 could land Rosario in New Jersey State Prison for up to 10 years on the most serious crimes.
