Paterson's Edwin Hits Career High For Seton Hall


PATERSON, NJ - Paterson's Fuquan Edwin scored a career-high 24 points as the Seton Hall men's basketball team improved to 14-2  with a 66-57 victory at Providence on Saturday.

In an outstanding all-around game, Edwin, a sophomore from Paterson Catholic, scored his 24 points on the strength of 5-for-8 from three point range.  He grabbed nine rebounds and added to his national lead with five steals, according to Seton Hall sports website.

Edwin's former Paterson Catholic teammate, senior Jordan Theodore had another masterful game for the Pirates at point guard.  The 6-footer had 14 points, nine assists and just two turnovers.

The victory is the Pirates' third straight and 11th in their last 12 games.  Seton Hall's 14 wins surpass its win total of a year ago.
