PATERSON, NJ - Patersonian Jio Fontan scored 13 points and added four assists and three steals to help Southern California upset 19th-ranked Tennesssee, 65-64.

Fontan was playing his second game for the Pac-10 school after transferring from Fordham. The guard, who played his scholastic ball at St. Anthony's in Jersey City, has been touted by the USC coaching staff as a key player in the team's hopes for this season.

The win at Tennessee was USC second game in a row against a ranked opponent. The Trojans lost to Kansas on national TV in Fontan's debut on December 18.
