PATERSON, NJ -  Paterson residents seeking to get back into the classroom to earn a GED are invited to register for classes at Paterson non-profit Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children.

The organization has announced that registration for September classes starts on Tuesday, August 20. 

Oasis offers GED courses as follows:

Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. September 9- June 12. Women only.

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. September 16 - November 21. Men and women. 

Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. September 13- November 23. Men and women.

There is a $25 registration fee and registration is available at Oasis, 59 Mill Street, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. as follows:

Tuesday, August 20

Wednesday, August 21

Friday, August 23

All prospective students will be given a placement test at registration to help Oasis teachers learn the best course level for each individual.
