PATERSON, NJ - An investigation into a Saturday night shooting that sent a 34-year-old Paterson man to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound is ongoing.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Fulton Street at approximately 9:40 p.m. on a report of shots fired. A short time law enforcement officials were informed that the victim had arrived at the hospital. Based on the investigation it was determined the shooting took place in the area of Carroll Street.
