PATERSON, NJ - Law enforcement officials have announced a second shooting took place in the city on Saturday. As previously announced, a 19-year-old man was shot in the early hours of Saturday in the area of Governor and Carroll Street.

The second incident, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald said in a statement, took place in the area of North 5th Street and Temple Street at approximately 11:05 p.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, the report states, no victim was found, but, after finding additional evidence of the shooting in the area of North 6th Street and Clinton Street, were advised that a 24-year-old Paterson man arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Gunshots also flew in front of Paterson Riverview Towers on Presidential Boulevard Thursday leaving one man dead and two injured.
