Paterson, NJ- a call to action was made last Wednesday as Trump was expected to sign off on two executive orders: banning Muslims from Muslim-majority countries to enter the United States and to commence building a wall that will separate the US and Mexico.

Paterson has one of the highest populations of Muslim Americans and Muslim immigrants, as well as having a large Latino community.

Silk City Socialists are rallying to organize the Muslim and immigrant communities in North Jersey, to build solidarity amongst all affected communities at this time, and to build a base of resistance against Trump today and in the coming years.
