PATERSON, N.J. - Linda Hardan, a former Manchester High School substitute teacher, had her teaching license revoked by the state after pleading guilty in January to aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Hardan reportedly send over 40 explicit images to a 14 year old boy and performed a sexual act on him at the Paterson Great Falls. Another 16 year old boy, according to prosecutors, dropped out of school after charges were filed against Harden.

Hardan's lawyer claimed in court that her strict religious upbringing led in part to her actions. Hardan is currently serving a 3 year sentence, will have lifetime probation, and is disqualified for public employment.
