On Saturday, April 6, 2019, members of Terrain Fitness located at 156 Mountainview Blvd., Wayne, NJ participated in a fund-raising event to support Spectrum Works, a 501c3 not-for-profit, that creates job opportunities for individuals with autism by building inclusive workforces at companies.    Rachel Wilson, owner and founder of Terrain Fitness became familiar with Spectrum Works through the “Fitness United For Autism” movement which stemmed from Autism Fitness, a specialized formal training program for fitness instructors who become equipped to train children and adults with autism.

“We were thrilled with the response we received from our members, we had excellent participation and raised over $500.  Embracing important causes that our community faces is one of our core values.” said Rachel. “We plan to participate every year and believe our collective financial contribution and physical commitment to do a special workout will help raise awareness and keep the mission going at Spectrum Works.”

The members of Terrain Fitness each contributed a minimum of $25 and enjoyed wearing a special T-Shirt which was designed by an individual with Autism who works for one of the companies affiliated with the organization.
