Three Members of E. 19th St. Family Charged With Drug Offenses in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ - An East 19th Street drug raid Thursday evening resulted in the arrests of three city residents who are members of the same family.

Paterson police arrested Miguel Rodriguez, age 49, Miguel Rodriguez Jr., age 28, and Marta Rodriguez, age 55, Thursday and charged them with possession of marijuana, cocaine, Roxicet, a 9mm handgun and drug paraphernalia, according to a release from Paterson police.

The Rodriguezes also have been charged with intent to distribute narcotics within 1,000 of a school, PS#16.

Narcotics detectives in July began an investigation focusing on this East 19th Street address for illegal drug activity. Cops seized 20 bags of marijuana weighing 87 grams, three bags of powder cocaine and five containers of Roxicet pills in the raid.
