PATERSON, NJ -Police are investigating three separate robberies that happened Thursday evening and early Friday morning.

The first occurred Thursday at the heart of downtown Paterson - the corner of Market and Main streets - towards the end of the evening rush hour at about 6 pm. A 21-year-old said a man pulled a knife on her and robbed her of her iPhone, police said. He fled on foot.

At 8:30 pm on Thursday, two armed with a shotgun robbed Ensueno restaurant on E. 16th Street of all the money in its cash register, said Lt. Richard Reyes.

Then, at 1:35 am on Friday, a 49-year-old told police that a gunman approached him while he was vehicle was stopped at a stop sign at 8th Avenue and E. 22nd Street and robbed him of his cell phone.
