PATERSON, NJ- Patients that visited Ferraro Medical Clinic in Paterson between January 2016 and May 2017 may want to get second opinions after an investigation by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Insurance Fraud Unit led to the arrest of Yvonne Jeannotte- Rodriguez for seeing and examining patients, despite not having a license to practice medicine, or any other health care related occupation, in the State of New Jersey.

According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes, Rodriguez was arrested along with Lisa Ferraro, M.D., and Marta Galvan, and charged with various counts including Health Care Claims Fraud and Conspiracy to Commit Health Care Claims Fraud.

It is alleged that Ferraro employed Rodriguez knowing that she was not licensed to practice yet allowed her to see patients while further billing insurance companies as if the services had been rendered by Ferraro.
