PATERSON, NJ - Today is Election Day in New Jersey. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Paterson voters have the opportunity to cast votes for Governor, a State Senator, two members of the General Assembly, three members of the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and three members of the Paterson Board of Education.

There are also two questions on the ballot.

The first authorizes the issuance of $125 million in bonds to provide grants to libraries across the state and the second requires that funds from environmental contamination cases be dedicated to environmental cleanup, preservation and the legal costs associated with prosecuting polluters.
