PATERSON, NJ- A Paterson man was shot in the early hours of Saturday while working in a local food truck.
According to a report by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Peach and Plum Street at approximately 3:42 a.m. after calls of shots fired. Upon their arrival officers were unable to find a crime scene but were advised a short time later that the 28-year-old victim had arrived at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the initial investigation, two masked men approached the victim and demanded money, shooting him once before fleeing the scene when he refused.
