Two Men Shot in Second Ward Thursday Evening


PATERSON, NJ - Police are investigating the 2nd Ward shooting of two Paterson men on Thursday evening. 

According to Lt. Patrick Murray, both victims, each age 27, were both shot in the lower leg after a group of males, which included the victims, were gathered in the area of Totowa and Manchester avenues at around 6:50 p.m. when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and a male exited the vehicle.

A verbal argument ensued between the male who exited and members of the group, at which time shots were fired and the two victims were shot. Police have not said whether they believe the victims were actually the intended targets of the suspect.

Both victims were in stable condition on Friday morning.
