PATERSON, NJ - Two Paterson men were shot in the area of East 19th Street late Tuesday, authorities say.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area at approximately 10:08 p.m. on a report of shots fired. 

Upon arrival police located the victims, 20 and 22, both with non-fatal gunshot wounds, as well as a potential crime scene.

Both men were immediately transported to St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center by Paterson Fire Department EMS for treatment.
