UPDATED- Early Morning Fire Rips Through Three Paterson Homes


Updated- 12:40 p.m.

According to Paterson Fire Chief Michael Postorino all residents of the homes damaged by today’s fire have been accounted for.

Fire crews remain on scene and demolition of the house where the fire started is underway.

PATERSON, NJ- Three houses on East 22nd Street were severely damaged by fire early this morning.

According to a first responder with knowledge of the incident the first crews arrived at approximately 6:30 a.m. and rescued one victim from the front porch of one of the structures.

While there are no reports of serious injuries emergency personnel are still trying to determine whether or not all occupants are accounted for.

Fire crews remain on the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

To my understanding, absentee ballots were designed to be used by those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Such as people in the armed services or those who are away on vacation. 

This year’s municipal election will be one for the history books.
